n 1980 Ron Denenberg was the recipient of the Suffolk Professional Photographers association's  first Photographer Of The Year Award - an award given to honor excellence in photography, service to the association and service to the community. He received his Craftsman Photographer degree from the Professional Photographers of America, in July of 1987. Ron has won Wedding Album of the Year three times. He has also won many other Local, State and National Awards including the Professional Photographers of the State of NY Court of Honor and Professional Photographers of America National Loan Print.
Active in professional associations, Ron is a Past President of the Professional Photographers of Long Island, where he was a five-time winner of the Presidents Award for service to the association. He held the position of chairman of the Ethics committee as well as other positions. Ron has lectured at State and local professional photographers associations as well as nationally. Ron also served as an advisor to the photography department of Suffolk BOCES for many years

Liz Denenberg is an Honorary Past president of the Professional Photographers of Long Island, having served on the board of directors for many years prior to its merger to the Professional Photographers Society of New York.  She also held the position of By-Laws Chairperson and Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee. Liz is a four time recipient of the Presidents Award, awarded by and at the discretion of the president to a deserving individual. She has also won many awards for her photography.

In 1994 Ron and Liz were presented with the STATE AWARD  "...in recognition of their enthusiastic efforts toward the advancement of professional photography."
